The Citadel's Homecoming 2012

We love going to The Citadel and I'm so glad Bennett will grow up with those memories.  Their homecoming was last weekend and we decided to take the trip for it.  We weren't going to the game, but we stayed for the parade and let Bennett hear the cannons fire!!  He had fun running around with his Citadel football and I had fun watching all the handsome cadets.  ;)  We had a great time and I can't wait to take him back!!

Long day wore him out!!

HOWDY!!

This year we enjoyed Bennett's 3rd Halloween!  I can't believe we have already seen 3 Halloweens go by.  They keep getting more and more fun as he gets older.  I like Halloween because it marks his 6 month birthdays- kinda easy to remember it that way.  This year he was a big 2.5 years!!  We dressed him up as a cowboy and he was so stinkin' cute!!  Love that little man!!

The Friday before Halloween we were invited to our neighbor's school for the festival.  We went out and let Bennett and his buddy, Wilson, run around and just have fun.  Here are some pics from that night:

As you can see, he was missing his vest.  It just wouldn't stay on since Bennett was running and playing.  So far Halloween night I made sure to pin that thing on, and surprisingly it stayed on pretty well.  We walked around and went up to just a few houses, again with is buddy Wilson, and he loved it!  At one point he took his sucker, unwrapped it, and decided he wanted to eat it right then and there.   So he sat himself down in the middle of the road and began to enjoy his sugary treat.  We should have just let him be content with that one sucker, but we rounded him up for more trick or treating.  Then we went back home and had our traditional chili- the ending to a perfect night!!
